Wintering Friends

With the recent snowfall we've received and the drop in temperatures, we've seen a lot more activity at our feeders. Good thing I filled them before all the snow and before it got so cold!

Lot's of Black-Capped Chickadees today. When I first started shooting, the trees were beautifully frost-covered. But, I was having a hard time with the lower light capturing their faces. So, I got my BetterBeamer and shot a few more. Unfortunately, by this time, the frost had vanished from most of the tree branches they were using to crack the shells.
